Stupid People!!!

11.28.03 (3:24 pm)   [edit]
I hate people, they can be so two faced sometimes! I wonder why people can be this way, how people can be this way. I dunno......I just got stabbed in the back by a couple of co-worker, and now I am looking like an a-hole manager.......
Dumb people suck!

Picture.....

In case you ever wanted to know what the A-Hole who writes this babble looks like......to kill the curiousity that must be eating away at you.....here you go......

Cold part 2, funny cars, and gov't.....

11.28.03 (8:12 am)   [edit]
This morning was so cold, I forgot to turn up my heat last night before I went to bed, and I was so cold this morning....it was HELL to get up today. Plus, I have to work today too, while the Huskers are playing on TV, and I have leftovers in the fridge.

Question of the day, is Thanksgiving dinner better the day of, or the next day as leftovers? I think leftovers. I dunno why, but it just seems to taste a lot better......
Pumpkin pie freaking rules........

I wish it would snow here......I love the snow, I don't like other people driving in it though when I am on the road with them. People other than me suck driving! I am an excellent driver, to quote Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man. Others not so much! The next teenager that is on their cell phone, while wearing their visor backwards and upside down, while listening to P-Diddy swerving to the beat, and has their S-10 all tricked out like it was a Fast and Furious rejected car because it wasn't quite to furious enough, that passes me going 20 mph over the speed limit, is going into the ditch at the hands of my truck. Since when was is fashionable to drive around with neon lights crammed in every possible place on your pink customized dodge neon? I guess I am a bit behind. I used to own a car just like that, however it didn't have neon on it, I bought it for 99 cents, and it was called a [b]hot wheel[/b].

Song of the Day.........Bad Day by REM.
I didn't have the slightest notion to buy the "new" REM best of CD since I already own most of these songs already, until I heard this song. REM started to write this song back in 1986, and finished it in 2003. Which I find amazing. What is even more amazing, is that the song is written about government. Think back about the state of the government in 86, and the state of it now.......not much has changed.....what a scary thought! As the national debt rises, and we are in yet another war in which we must support our troops, and still are be proud to be an Americans. However, it is so hard to find a cause for us to even be over there.
I have many friends over there fighting for America, and while they are proud to be over there serving, at times they get down trodden, because often times even they wonder why they are there.
These are the views of the majority of my friends that are over there, granted these are opinions that may not be shared by others that are over there, I 100% understand that, and respect that. The world is full of differing opinions, what a wonderful thing!

Anyway, the lyrics to Bad Day.......

A public service announcement followed me home the other day,
I paid it nevermind, go away.
Shit's so thick you could stir it with a stick,
free Teflon whitewashed presidency.
We're sick of being jerked around,
Wear that on your sleeve

Broadcast me a joyful noise into the times, Lord,
count your blessings,
We're sick of being jerked around
We all fall down.

Have you ever seen the televised St. Vitus subcommittee prize
investigation dance? Those-ants-in-pants glances.
Well, look behind the eyes, it's a hallowed, hollow anesthesized,
"save my own ass, screw these guys" smoke and mirror lock down

Broadcast me a joyful noise into the times, Lord,
count your blessings,
The papers wouldn't lie!
I sigh. Not one more.

It's been a bad day, please don't take a picture
It's been a bad day. Please
It's been a bad day, please don't take a picture
It's been a bad day. Please

We're dug in the deep, the price is steep.
The auctioneer is such a creep.
The lights went out, the oil ran dry
We blamed it on the other guy
Sure, all men are created equal.
Here's the church, here's the steeple
Please stay tuned, we cut to sequel,
ashes, ashes, we all fall down.

Broadcast me a joyful noise unto the times, Lord,
Count your blessings.
Ignore the lower fears,
Ugh, this means war.

It's been a bad day, please don't take a picture
It's been a bad day. Please
It's been a bad day, please don't take a picture
It's been a bad day. Please

Broadcast me a joyful noise into the times, Lord,
Count your blessings,
We're sick of being jerked around,
We all fall down.

It's been a bad day, please don't take a picture
It's been a bad day. Please
It's been a bad day, please don't take a picture
It's been a bad day. Please

Funny How......

11.25.03 (9:06 am)   [edit]
When I was younger, in my teens.....cold weather didn't really bother me. And I was much thinner back then too.....less meat on the bones. I would walk around in the most absurdly freezing temperatures, and act as if it were 70. Now, if the slightest breeze blows in my face, it feels as if Mike Tyson has jabbed me in the jaw. Whew! Old sucks! Hence the song of the day......note to self.......The Drugs Don't Work performed by Ben Harper.
Anyway, that is pretty much it for today, I might add more later, so keep coming back for more......and um...please someone anyone, let me know if you are viewing.....I know some people have to be, cuz I have over 400 hits.
Anyway, on to the song of the day The Drugs Don't Work.....I am going to start putting the lyrics to the songs of the day on here, because we live in a society where we want all the info now and at hand......so here you go....the only line there is about getting old is the first line the rest is a really touching song......It is off the Live On Mars CD....GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All this talk of getting old
It's bringing me down my love
Like a cat in a bag waiting to drown
This time I'm comin' down
And I know you're thinking of me
As you lay down on your side

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again
Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

But I know I'm on a losing streak
As I pass down by your street
And if you wanna show, just let me know
And I'll sing in your ear again

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

So baby, Woh- if heaven calls, I'm coming too
Just like you say
If you leave my life, I'm better off dead

All this talk of getting old
It's getting me down my love
Like a cat in a bag, waiting to drown
This time I'm comin' down

The drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

So baby, Woh- if heaven calls, I'm coming too
And like you said,
If you leave my life, I'm better off dead

But if you wanna show, just let me know
And now I'll sing in your ear again

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But now I know I'll see your face again
Yeah- I know I'll see your face again
Yeah- I know I'll see your face again
Oh- now
Yeah, I know I'll see your face again
Never coming down, Never coming down
No more, no more, no more, no more, no more, no more
Never coming down, never coming down
No more, no more, no more, no more, no more
Oh- now
Yeah, I know I'll see your face again

Oh yeah....also.......can anyone tell me what the "H" stands for in Jesus H. Christ?

Also...I wish someone would have given me this list a few years ago! http://www.askmen.com/dating/...

Weekend

11.24.03 (7:13 am)   [edit]
I did lots of nothing, however I thought about doing a lot more. I dunno, it was just one of those weekends where I thought...you know what, the couch looks kinda comfy, when it really isn't.
The Patriots won this weekend! 9-2! The rest of the AFC East is terrible, that being said I like the Pats chances of making the playoffs! They don't win pretty, they just win!
I've also decided two things about the current state of music. One, is it me or is it that every band that gets radio play, and I am talking bands.....you know.....guitars, drums, bass guitar, REAL music.......do they sound the same? Is it that they are really all the same band? Think of it, I still to this day cannot distinguish the difference between Third Eye Blind and Matchbox 20. Therefore, starting this day, and in fact it really started years ago, I boycott radio. Until the day comes that the labels stop feeding stations money to play their crappy recycled music, I refuse to listen. Unless it is an artist who has paved the way for current music acts to follow, such as Jane's, PJ, AIC, Soundgarden, Tool, Radiohead and REM to name a few.......you know.....originality!

And Two.....pop acts, or basically current "artists" such as Christina, and Brittney can both be erased off of the face of the earth, and I wouldn't loose a second of sleep. Brittney can't even sing during her live performances, because she is to busy shaking her slutty little ass all over. If I wanted to watch people dance all over I'd watch Soul Train, which I have never had much of a desire to do either.

This originality being said, I am going to post the song of the day as being........Breed Apart by Sepultura where Max Cavelera (who I have drank out of the same water bottle as) screams.....OPEN UP YOUR MIND AND GO YOUR OWN WAY!!!!!!

Oh yeah.....GO NOMAH...........http://story.news.yahoo.com/n...

Had dinner with some good friends last night

11.20.03 (11:04 am)   [edit]
I ate dinner with C & K last night. It is always so nice to see them, and the welcome me ever so warmly. We had a very nice dinner, and then just kinda hung out and talked the rest of the night. One topic that came up wich was kinda funny, we once went to a wedding together.....and K has a horrible habit of dropping biscuits were ever he damn well pleases. Well, he decided that it would be alright if he dropped one right in the middle of our friend Bill's wedding. It was a silent kind.....however EXTREMELY potent. It just so happens he was holding his new baby boy at the time as well.....K had the balls to whisper to us, I have to go check the diaper.....I'll be right back. Instantly we all knew that K had cut some serious cheddar, and had we could do from not gagging/laughing out loud/and choke back tears.
Just kinda a odd story......about air poo.........do you have have any?

Song for the day.......Cocoon by Jack Johnson.......words cannot do this song justice, so I will not even attempt. However, please do check it out in anyway you can. You will be a Jack fan for life after listening, I promise you!

Who would win in a fight between.......

11.19.03 (11:04 am)   [edit]
I wonder, as I often to, who would win in a fight between Aunt Jamima and Mrs. Butterworth?

My thought is this. I believe that Aunt J is a pacifist. I think that she would rather bake you a pie than kick your teeth in.

On the other hand you have Mrs. B, carries the wooden spoon. Those things can be leathal, when I was little I had one on my back side at least once a month....this with a steady in take of soap in the mouth for using grown-up words. Plus Mrs. Butterworth can change forms, she can go from a glass bottle to a somewhat floating glass-like looking figure....very scary.

So my pick, Mrs. B in 2 rounds.

Song of the day, Hard to Imagine off of either the Chicago Cab soundtrack, or the recent release Lost Dogs by Pearl Jam. I could get lost in Mike Mcready's guitar in this song for days on end.

Things were different then!!!! How true.

Oh yeah...I forgot to mention

11.18.03 (11:22 am)   [edit]
Today is my brother's birthday. Actually he is the closest thing that I have to a brother, without actually having one. His name is Skinner. I will go ahead and say his name, as I am sure that this Blog will often mention his name. Happy birthday brother.

Skinner and I have a very close relationship, which started out as two misfits in a new environment....freshman year in high school. As we were the new kids on the block, in a school that already had it's clicks well established, we started our own. The founding members of the "outsiders". Sure we hung out and socialized with other members of clicks, but they really weren't like us.

We have had some times together, good and bad. We have helped each other out through it all, and we are still close to this very day. Most of my best times have been with him. He has been there for me when no one else was. As I for him. We both know that in times of trouble we can count on each other for help.

So again Skinner, happy birthday!

ummmm.....yeah.......ok.....

Jager Bombs.......no gooda

11.18.03 (7:07 am)   [edit]
Jager Bombs.......bad idea. Who was the wise guy who thought that mixing two very potent drinks, both being on the opposite end of the spectrum was a good idea. And who was the wise guy the put this under my nose? I dunno, can't remember......note to self.......Jager+Red Bull= temporary memory loss......don't try this again. So I will stick to the barley pop, and leave it at that.

Song for the day Down by Pearl Jam......if you haven't heard it, pick it up.....run don't walk to your local neighborhood record store and pick it up! If you aren't that motivated, or if you had one to many Jager Bombs last night......at least read the lyrics some where.
